Change Communication

We worked with the Sydney Trains Accommodation Program team to develop and implement a communications plan to transition 2000 office staff from traditional working to Activity Based Working (ABW) – as part of the Decade of Decentralisation.

We liaised closely with Change Managers, working with various departments to develop messaging and communications including:

  • Video series – educating teams about ABW rules and benefits
  • Branding – working with designers to develop internal promotional material
  • Corporate social media – Providing information, updates and opportunities to ask questions – via Facebook Workplace and Yammer.
  • Developing training presentations, corporate updates and internal comms.

Results

Based on this pilot program – 20 more ABW locations are underway for Government departments due to:

Cost efficiencies, greater staff collaboration, increased technology uptake, better records management and increased productivity due to flexible work options.
