BETA testing & app launch

Onus, a tech start-up in the healthcare space, wanted to BETA test and launch their app. While focused on the health vertical, their target market was too huge to tackle in one go.

We workshopped a more focused target audience demographic, researched keywords to understand trends and recruited BETA testers for product testing. We then launched a content marketing strategy for a soft app launch involving:

  • New website design
  • User-generated 30-day content blog series on the Onus website, creating exposure for the Onus app and brand, and generating conversations in the chronic pain community.
  • Supported by social media activity on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Chronic pain Influencer campaign, involving authors, medical professionals, bloggers and disability advocates from the UK, Australian and US.


Established a network of international chronic pain supporters, new app signups and Influencers keen to continue on as Onus ambassadors.
